Classes

Welcome to Marine Kickboxing!  All you need to participate in your FREE WEEK is something comfortable to work out in and a bottle of water.  No shoes are needed as we train barefoot in all of our classes.  Gloves and hand wraps will be provided for your first week of training!  Please make sure to eat an hour to an hour and a half before any class!!

Women’s Only

The women’s only kickboxing classes are open to all levels of skill and fitness. These classes are taught by Hillary.  They are fun, energetic, and designed to help develop strength and conditioning along with realistic skills in what is a heavily male dominated sport.  If you have no experience in kickboxing, one of our instructors will give you a lesson in basic stance, punches and kicks.  You will also be taught how to correctly hold focus mitts so that you can get the most out of your partner-based workouts. After only a few classes, the confidence gained by all of our women is amazing as they realize they’re capable of achieving and learning more than they ever thought!  These classes are part of Henri Hoofts HKickboxing system and students are graded twice a year to determine understanding of technique.  Hillary, Kerry and Henri grade students based on clean technique and ability to utilize techniques during contact drills, pad work and sparring for the more advanced students.

Kickboxing

All kickboxing classes are taught by Kerry and are for beginner and intermediate students alike. You will be taught to correctly hold focus mitts and kick pads. Each class you will learn similar techniques and how they can be utilized, on pads and in contact drills with a partner. The Bag and Pad class will focus on bag work, utilizing techniques learned during classes.  These classes are part of Henri Hoofts HKickboxing system and students are graded twice a year to determine progression and understanding of technique.  Kerry, Hillary and Henri grade students based on clean technique and ability to utilize techniques during contact drills, pad work and sparring for the more advanced students.

Youth Kickboxing

Youth Kickboxing classes for children aged 10-14. Classes will consist of a warm up, followed by stretching and then focusing on the technique of the week.  Discipline, confidence and team work are the three main focal points of these classes.  Your children will gain valuable lessons that apply to more than just martial arts, lessons which can also be applied in day to day life!

Marine Conditioning

Marine Conditioning classes are designed to make you sweat and feel the burn. Utilizing skipping ropes, body weight exercises, resistance bands and kettle bells, these classes will have you feeling great and Training Like A Marine!
