Classes

Welcome to Marine Kickboxing!  All you need to participate in your FREE WEEK is something comfortable to work out in and a bottle of water.  No shoes are needed as we train barefoot in all of our classes, (our Trap Classes being the exception).

You must purchase your own equipment in order to participate in Kickboxing classes. You may purchase at our front desk or nearest sporting goods store.   

Intro classes are available only on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. You must book your first class through our booking app “RhinoFit”. Sign up anytime!

 
 

H KickBoxing

All kickboxing classes are taught by Kerry and Hillary; they are for beginner and intermediate students alike. You will be taught how to stand/move correctly, punch and kick properly, and hold focus mitts and kick pads. Each class you will learn similar techniques and how they can be utilized, on pads and in contact drills with a partner.

The Bag and pad work classes will focus on learning and drilling previously learned and new techniques. These classes are part of Henri Hooft’s “H Kickboxing” system. Students are graded once a year to determine progression and understanding of fundamental teachings.  Kerry, Hillary and Henri grade students based on clean technique and ability to utilize these techniques during contact drills, pad work and sparring for the more advanced students.


Marine H.I.I.T. Conditioning

Marine H.I.I.T. Conditioning classes are designed to make you sweat and feel the burn! They are great for anyone of any fitness level. Utilizing body weight exercises, battle ropes, resistance bands, TRX systems, steppers, light weights and kettle bells, these classes will have you feeling great and Training Like A Marine!

These classes are also a great stepping stone towards building up to “The Trap” classes. If you have no prior lifting experience (for example you aren’t comfortable / able to lift anything over 35 pounds), we suggest you do these classes before trying a Trap class.


The Trap

This class takes place in our lower level training area, affectionately nicknamed “The Trap”. These classes utilize free weight, barbells, plates, kettlebells and more. Previous weight lifting experience is required. Limited spaces are available so these classes must be booked in advance.

This facility is also bookable during regular business hours for any member that would like to use the equipment outside of a class setting.
